Boss Lady (Owner) - Kassie
Meet Kassie, the founder and "Boss Lady" of Catering with a Twist. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Kassie departed the state to live in the sunny states of Hawaii and Florida. Meeting the man of her dreams in Florida, then discovering he is also a Texan, home began calling their names, so back to Texas they went, heading towards the funkiest town around.
Kassie started Catering with a Twist with a dream to bring art and design to the world of catering, realizing that Austin was missing that "Keep it Weird" caterer. With 15 years as a Property Event Planner, Kassie coordinated, designed and hosted 100's of events. With that said, she is able to bring this expertise to each and every wedding and event with Catering with a Twist.
Kassie believes life is way too short to live life like everyone else. To her, being different is the only way to live life, and normal is, well, boring. Covered in brightly colored tattoos and sporting an alternating color palette Mohawk, Kassie isn’t marked by one ounce of “ordinary.” In the words of John Lennon, and what happens to be one of Kassie’s favorite quotes, “Its weird to not be weird.”
Creating a once in a lifetime experience, while embracing the individuality of each client that comes her way is truly what Kassie lives for!
When Kassie isn't creating and designing, she loves to hit the trails with her two rescue pups (Karma and Chief), go on food adventures with her hubby James, she absolutely loves to grill everything she eats and at the end of it all, she loves to relax and enjoy a glass of sauvignon blanc!!

Lexy’s childhood dream was to become an artist. In culinary school (Texas Culinary Academy) she discovered that food was the perfect sharable medium to express her passion and enthusiasm for life, simply edible art.
